PROMOTION OF THE EXCLUSIVE CATALOGUE ABOUT THE EXHIBITION ''100 YEARS OF TREBENISHTE''
Today in the Archaeological Museum a press conference and promotion of the exclusive catalogue about the exhibition “100 Years of Trebenishte” was held
It is our honor to announce that after two years of intensive negotiations and preparations marking the centenary of the discovery of the Trebenishte necropolis, the exhibition which is of special importance for the archaeology in Republic of North Macedonia, the Balkan and wider, will be open for visitors from March until August this year.
The catalogue that is the result of the dedicated work of eminent archaeologists from the Republic of North Macedonia, Serbia and Bulgaria, and is specially prepared for this exhibition, is now on sale in the Archaeological Museum.
Due to the interest by the European public about presenting this exhibition in Paris, Berlin, Vienna and Zagreb, the exclusive catalogue is written in English and is comprised of texts by 26 authors.
The speakers at today’s event were the director of The Archaeological Museum, Goran Sanev; Tatjana Cvetichanin spoke in the name of the director of The National Museum in Belgrade, Bojana Boric Breshkovic; the director of The National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Hristo Popov; curator advisor Vera Krstic from The National Museum in Belgrade; curator advisor Pero Ardzanliev from The Archaeological Museum; as well as the editor of the catalogue Aleksandra Papazovska from The Archaeological Museum.
